Because of the absence of immediate results, people stop dieting and exercising even though they know it is good for them. And this is the reason why many people fail to achieve the healthy lifestyle.
One way to help yourself is to give something to gratify yourself while you are doing your health plan. Just remember that it is not impossible to lay aside instant gratification to gain health benefits. Gratification perception can be overcome in different ways. But, you can actually try some methods to help you overcome this. One of the ways you can do it is by adding a bit of instant gratification to your health plan. If, then, you are able to achieve a health goal, do something to motivate yourself. You can start reducing rewards as you get used to your new habits.
Don’t make a mistake of rewarding yourself with food items that will go against your health goals. These things can get you past the need for instant gratification.
